De functie

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a Global People Operations team for a company that is growing rapidly with approximately 200 employees in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, the European Union, and Australia. You will be the first full-time Human Resources Business Partner (NL) to be based in The Netherlands (40 employees), overseeing human resources compliance and building culture for employees in The Netherlands and Germany.  This position will report to the Chief People Officer based in USA. People Operations is a strategic function that focuses on employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and results. 

You will be working on:

  • Drive initiatives to enhance engagement, retention, and recognition through surveys, feedback, and events.
  • Improve efficiency, culture, and processes in the People Ops function.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Resolve employee relations issues ensuring legal compliance.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and documentation.
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
  • Diagnose and address opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Lead local recruitment.
  • Anticipate challenges and support employees for success.

  • A salary of € 4.500 to € 6.000 per month based on a 40-hour workweek.
  • 25 vacation days (plus extra days at executive management discretion).

Je profiel
  • Ambitious Human Resource Businesspartner who is a self-starter that can build strong partnerships at the local level while being an integral strategic partner at the global level.
  • Hbo/wo graduated.
  • 4+ years of HR-generalist experience who can work at an operational level.
  • Applied knowledge of European Member State employment law, specifically Dutch (and German) employment laws and practices.
  • Previous experience working in a global organization, an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with people at all levels. 
  • Proactive and flexible changing environment. 
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Passionate, creative, and innovative, with the ability to drive positive change and inspire others. 
  • Team player, able to collaborate effectively with other functions. 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a requirement.
